They sound similar, look similar in the office, and both promise smoother, firmer, more refined skin. But the differences are real — and they matter when you're investing in your results.
Traditional microneedling uses dozens of fine needles to create controlled micro-channels in the skin. Your body responds with collagen production and accelerated cell turnover. It's powerful for surface-level concerns: fine lines, large pores, mild scarring, uneven texture.
RF microneedling adds radiofrequency energy through those same micro-channels.
